English for international audiences
The Forum for Technical Communication in Norway invited Mike Unwalla to Oslo to talk about international English for international audiences. One person said, "The speaker was excellent… I'm pleased with this sort of meetings, which gives me input that I can use at work the very next day."
English for machine translation
New evidence shows that clear English gives satisfactory machine translation (automated computer translation). English text was translated into Norwegian with Google Translate. Professional translators evaluated the machine translations.
STC Senior Member
In December 2009, Mike Unwalla became a Senior Member of the Society for Technical Communication (www.stc.org).
